NACPS Quilt Project

The Northern Arundel Cultural Preservation Society (NACPS) and the Friends of Hancock’s Resolution (FOHR) are looking for volunteers to put a few stitches in the Coming Together documentary story quilt that will be displayed at Historic Hancock’s Resolution once it is completed.

We are looking for 10 volunteers on each of the following dates:
  • Monday April 25 from 1:00-3:00 p.m
  • Thursday May 12 from 1:00-3:00 p.m
  • Friday May 20 from 1:00-3:00 p.m
  • Friday May 27 from 1:00-3:00 p.m
  • Sunday June 12 from 1:00-4:00 p.m
We are also looking for 6 volunteers on Monday June 6 when a group of 90 5th graders from Jacobsville Elementary School will be visiting Historic Hancock’s Resolution. Half of the students will be coming through in the morning and the other half will be coming in the afternoon. We would like several volunteers to talk about the quilt and show the children how to add a few stitches to it. The times for this activity will be decreased once we know all of the details. For now, we are asking for three volunteers from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and three volunteers from 12:00-3:00 p.m.

The location for all of this will be Historic Hancock’s Resolution (2795 Bayside Beach Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122).

If you are able to volunteer on any or all of these dates, please let us know by putting your name and email address on this Sign Up Sheet
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thank you.
