Halloween Pet Parade

Fast Facts & Tips

WHAT: Hancock’s Resolution Halloween Pet Parade, October 30, 2011, no rain date. Participants: see rules and fill in application. Spectators: all are welcome.

WHERE: The registration table will be just past the main gate at the entrance to the park. Registration is from 1 to 1:45pm. The Parade starts at 2:00 pm. Prizes will be distributed at the event.

PARKING: Cars will be directed to designated areas.

ACCESS: If space is needed for wheelchair viewing, please call 410-544-1475 prior to the day of the parade.

RESTROOMS: Portable restrooms will be to the left of the parking lot. A Pet Potty area will be provided near the parking lot.

EMERGENCIES: Remember 911 on your cell phones.

LOST AND FOUND: Any articles that are found should be brought to the Main Entrance Tent.

PARENTS: We strongly suggest that parents and guardians ask permission of the owner before attempting to touch the animals.

TIPS

PLAN IN ADVANCE! Bring lawn chairs to make yourself comfortable.

ARRIVE EARLY! We recommend you arrive prior to the start of the parade. This allows time to get settled and comfortable so the parade can begin on time.

WEAR THE RIGHT STUFF! Wear whatever you will need to keep comfortable. Depending on the weather you might be in a short sleeve shirt or in a hat and gloves. Wear sturdy shoes for walking in a field.

SHARE THE SPIRIT! Part of the fun of going to the parade is to share the spirit of the celebration. The spirit of Halloween is contagious. Pass it on!

Most events are free, but a small donation is suggested. For some events there may be a service charge.
