Volunteering
Welcome to Hancock’s Resolution
This Volunteer Packet has Job Descriptions, information, and forms required for all volunteer work.
******************************************************
Hancock’s Resolution has many gardening opportunities. The work that needs to be done will take a dozen or more Assistant gardeners who have time throughout each week to keep everything in shape. These Assistant gardeners will confer with the Head Gardener to determine their work schedule and what work to do in the garden.
Kristi Wetzel is our Acting Head Gardener. If you are interested in helping with the gardens, please call: 410-279-2364
******************************************************
We have many volunteer jobs that need to be filled by dedicated people who love history:
- Docent – these are the people who learn about a particular area and inform visitors about the history and family
- Gardening – digging in the dirt and helping the plants grow
- Yard work – cutting grass, removing debris, simple repairs
- Research – looking for answers to fill in the blanks
- Other – tell us what you are interested in doing
