Volunteer Packet
Depending on the volunteer job certain forms are needed. (This page is a work in progress.)
Certain jobs (like the Head Gardener) require the person to become a member of FOHR (Friends of Hancock’s Resolution). Our brochure includes this information. Brochure2026-Quad

Anyone who is not a FOHR member is required by the county to fill in a Volunteer Release form whenever they work at Hancock’s.

We have many volunteer jobs that need to be filled by dedicated people who love history:
- Docent – these are the people who learn about a particular area and inform visitors about the history and family
- Gardening – digging in the dirt and helping the plants grow
- Yard work – cutting grass, removing debris, simple repairs
- Research – looking for answers to fill in the blanks
- Other – tell us what you are interested in doing
